Spotlight on MATT'S MAILLE

We're excited to announce that Matt's Maille will once again be at the 2018 South Lansing Christian Church Annual Craft Fair, and he will be demonstrating how he makes his jewelry.

For almost 20 years, Matthew Williams, owner/artisan of Matt's Maille, has been making stunning jewelry creations by hand using different types of wire, such as this Titanium Double Byzantine Bracelet. This is woven from small titanium rings; so while it appears delicate and is very light, it is actually extremely durable.

He makes bracelets, necklaces, earrings, headpieces, and other stunning items, such as these shown below:

Matthew also does viking weave jewelry. Viking weave is an ancient technique that creates a length of "chain" by threading a single strand of wire around a form, in-and-out through itself hundreds of times. Each bracelet typically takes about 15 feet of wire and it's completed with silver coils, Swarovski crystals, and a hand-formed S-hook. Matthew's excited to be at this year's show, and he looks forward to seeing you! Check him out at www.facebook.com/MailleJewelry/
